If you have a 5.1 or 6.1 channel speaker system, you can "upmix" your stereo sources e.g. MP3, WMA, MIDI and Wave to 6.1 channels by using the Creative MultiSpeaker Surround (CMSS) technology. To upmix, you need to enable the CMSS feature in Creative EAX console.

To connect Center and Subwoofer channels using a 3.5mm (stereo)-to-RCA cable, link the white (left) RCA jack to the Center input and the red (right) RCA jack to the subwoofer input of the amplifier.

To connect a stereo receiver or amplifier to the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX, choose any available line-level stereo input and connect it to the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX card's Line Out 1 jack for front speakers. Select "2 speakers" in the Creative Speaker Settings.
